Barrel-cooked rooster heated by longan wood...

Juicy, tender, flavorful, a whole chicken for 6-8 people, eaten by 3! 480nt each!Neighboring tables with 3-4 people had leftover chicken to take home but not the Chous.

Remaining of my classmates at Shi da..

We are missing four students on the last day of class (26/5/9)...2 of which haven't showed up for class for a long time.

If you want to become a vegeterian, do it in Taiwan!

Highlight of the buffet for me was the chocolate fountain!



I went back 5 times..


again and again and again..




The food was really delicious for a vegeterian buffet!
Tina, my mom has plans to bring you here already...it's definitely not like the other one we took you to.

Tip: just use swimming goggles!




oh and success with my mapo tofu today. Being tender with fragile tofu really helps with the look. I DID chop some onions for this..no tears!

My first karaoke experience at Partyworld/Cashbox as an adult...

After dinner, me and some new friends went to some guy's birthday party at Cashbox/Partworld somewhere between Zhongshan and Minquan station..
It was the biggest karaoke room I have ever seen and it was one of the largest room at Partyworld which accommodates 30-50 people in the room..That is pretty damn big considering what I'm used to seeing in Montreal...think Pang Pang karaoke.

Here are some shots from the beginning of the party, between and two hour later ..and a video of the drunks

See that nicely stacked tower of beers and Chivas Regal?...and how it slowly disassembles and consequently, cans/boxes/cups all over the floor..
It was a MESS! Quite an experience for me...People were so out of it and drunk that I later got to sing a few of my songs without feeling judged at all!





And then the party ended for me when shirts came flying off...haha

I haven't been this full since....yesterday!

Tonight, I cooked 4 steak filets which i finished, I made miso soup (celery, tofu, green onions, miso, seaweed), stir fried some veggies, and for desert..pre-season lychee which has another name I don't remember!

In 5-7 days..dead skin is suppose to peel off my feet (see pic) which it says, will last for 2-3 weeks...so no sandals for 2-3 weeks. Now, this would be one of those sacrifices girls do for beauty..also, not finding a decent pedicurist in town @%#$#..
