I've been contacted for the third round of interview but I feel bad that I don't really want this job ..weighing in the + and -... I never thought it would be a problem...I guess I can always decline.
It's a temporary job ..7 months for Expo 2010 in Shanghai...but what am I going to do after that?
It's time for me to look for a full time/permanent job right?

Scandal at Sea Mio?
During the summertime, there was a new meal delivery service for Sea Mio residents. My mom and her friends had ordered before and I was encouraged to try ordering from them if I were ever feeling lazy. So I did! I ordered this horrible lunchbox porc dish and never ordered again. However, it wasn't only because the food wasn't good but also because the delivery boy made me uncomfortable when he started hitting on me. He had tried to make conversation and asked plenty of questions when I was making an order. I remember having Dave on voice chat with me to make sure nothing was going to happen to me when that boy came. After that, he called my cell a few times to ask me out or just to talk. I always found an excuse to decline/ignore. He told me he lived in LA before and was very straightforward about asking if I wanted a boyfriend..or if I was interested to date him. I managed to tell him off and he never really bothered me again.
So apparently, he has been arrested and no longer lives here.
My mom heard the story but had forgotten to tell me but today, she heard the story again from someone else and remembered to tell me. The delivery boy and his twin brother had been arrested for sex scandals and fraud. Apparently, their arrest made it in the newspapers. My mom doesn't know the details but she was told that they lied to girls about being from America to add some special factor, gains their trust, gets to be their bfs, gets them in bed, and then frauds them for money. A girl at Sea Mio lost 200 000 nt or something and other victims elsewhere in Taipei. Bah..
Dirty dirty bastards. Anyway, my mom told her friends that the boy also tried to get in my pants too but failed...She did not say 'get in my pants' ...

The eternal optimist
I didn't make any New Year resolutions this year but it would seem like a good excuse to start a list and see where i should be by the time 2010 ends.
Finding a job, I would like, but it won't be on the list because that's something i'm always trying to get anyway...
Last year's resolutions helped me settle into my life here in Taiwan, get into a routine, improve my Chinese, get in touch with my "roots", find new interests, care for my health and really appreciate the people around me... So although I didn't find a full time job, it doesn't really matter..
I'm going to make a list for 2010 but it won't be easy ...

I am the proud daughter of Mr. Robert Chou..
This video was taken on New Year's Eve when our family went on a ferry boat ride on the Danshui river which, returned to shore after the countdown. We also saw the Taipei 101 fireworks from afar.
One of the activities of the night was belly dancing.
When asked to come to the front to dance...Chou baba was not shy at all :)
He will turn 66 in two days!

Shoot shoot shoot
I didn't know where to start..I've got more than a thousand pics I took while I was in China and stories seem endless and too long to tell in one entry.
So..to start.
Here's a collection of all the mobile pics I took ninja-style during filming of the docu-drama...mostly in Wudang but as well as Beijing and Wuhan.
We shot just about anywhere..in sun and rain, hot and cold, in high altitudes and low..out in the open air and in itsy bitsy bathroom spaces..We shot in places where prlly not one soul has been, such as a lonely cliff up in the Wudang mountains and places touched by millions such as the Beijing international airport and one of the 4 main BJ train stations..We shot in a Wuhan concert halls, Wudang/ BJ/ Wuhan trains, "planes", temples, ...

In BJ East train station

In an Air China building with model airplanes where staff training takes place..

Wuhan concert hall

On a train from Wuhan to Beijing

The actors had to climb that small cliff-near Golden temple in Wudang

one of the final shots -at the Purple Temple in Wudang.

Lives are put in danger..at the Monkey valley in Wudang ..This location is a very popular place for shooting kung fu movies because it embodies aspects of ancient times in China. This was also the same place where "Karate Kid" shot several scenes from.

Grand master's chamber

Temple

Girls' dorm room

I got a feeling..today's gonna be a good day~
My last day before China departure was very eventful..eat eat sing and see bands play and dancers dance and then eat some more!
Thanks Nancy & Jen for blunch!
After blunch, we went to Holiday and booked the smallest KTV room I have ever been in!

Video of Nancy swaying her butt and making my day!
After 1 hr of KTV, I finally arrived at the Breeze Center for ICRT's Battle of the Bands but two hours late (Tis was a two hours event). But it ran late, so I still got to see the last band play and winners announced.

Yogurt Art with Danny! Yogurt by weight. ..pick any flavor of yogurt and then choose from a buffet of garnish to please your taste bud!

My art: I took three flavors of yogurt (Berries, Macadamia white chocolate and plain), garnished with chocolate and colored sprinkles, fresh blueberries and oreo crumbs..

I heart Wal-Mart
Normally, when you see something ugly, you don't buy it..but for Q, she felt the need to buy it and ship it half way across the world... Just for doing that, I shall wear it!
